Training and Development
In 2013, Darigold implemented an online video training program on quality, safety and environmental compliance.
In 2014, Darigold conducted Workplace Violence & Harassment Training with supervisors and above at all 11 locations, with a 94% participation rate.
In 2015, People Skills training rolled out to the IT Department.
In 2016, some employees completed additional management training on drug and alcohol awareness, harassment and discrimination avoidance, and labor relations and supervisory training.

Darigold has 8 plants with employees under collective bargaining agreements: Bozeman, Mont.; Portland, Ore.; Lynden, Chehalis, Issaquah, Seattle, Spokane, and Sunnyside, Wash. In the past year, labor contracts were reached with bargaining units in Spokane, Chehalis, Portland, Sunnyside, Lynden, Seattle and Issaquah. Darigold honors all our legal obligations around freedom of association, worker rights, human rights, child labor and non-discrimination. We have a written grievance process aimed at facilitating employee concerns and advancing labor relations.
